User Requests and Privacy Concerns

Users can report privacy concerns or violations by emailing privacy@cognativinc.com. We will investigate and address any reported concerns in a timely manner.

Data Breach Procedures

In the event of a personal data breach concerning personal data processed by us, we shall take appropriate measures to address the breach, including measures to mitigate its adverse effects. Specifically, email user data is accessed via email API via Cognativ services on AWS servers which are configured to not accept direct external connections, ensuring user data safety. This architecture guarantees that email user data is not shared with any 3rd party, but only with the user and the parties the user has authorized to share the data with. This distinction clarifies that any sharing of email credentials with third parties is beyond Cognativ's control and scope.

Children Under the Age of 18

Our Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to any Website. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 and do not direct our Website for use by individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on the Website or on or through any of its features/ register, make any purchases through the Website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Website or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information. You can do so by reviewing your profile in the Cognativ product. If you would like us to remove your personal information from our records, to the extent permitted by law, you can inform us by email to privacy@cognativinc.com.

We may deny a consumer’s deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers or customers to: 

  1. Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, fulfill the terms of a product warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service that a consumer requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with that consumer, or otherwise perform our contract with that consumer. 

  2. Help to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of the consumer’s personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for those purposes. 

  3. Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality. 

  4. Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
